Sligo Traveller Support Group would like to invite you to the launch of their DVD ” The Journey to Mental Health” on the 30th July 2013 at 11am in the Sligo Park Hotel.
The DVD was compiled by STSG to heighten the awareness that many social determinants such as accomodation, discrimination, education, drug and alcohol misuse and loss and bereavement all have a negative impact on Mental Health and that Travellers experience worse Mental Health and a higher rate of suicide than the majority population.
This DVD was funded by the HSE (Traveller Health Unit).

On the day, there will be an extensive display of crafts and artwork made by the Travelling Community including a Barrel Top Wagon Display (from our prison programme). Children’s Entertainment will be provided on the day as well as Light Refreshments. Everyone Welcome!
